Colorado ~ New York ~ Rhode Island

Please e-mail our New York Contact about these horses.

Alfie, Splashdown, Hoss and Caesar are the last of a group of fifteen stallions seized about five years ago by law enforcement in New York State. They are located in the Hudson River Valley region. They were with the same handler for four years and all were gelded during that time frame. The boys have been living in a laid-back, easy-going environment and have learned to adjust to their handlers and their surroundings. They came from very dubious backgrounds and had lots of memories to erase. Now its time for them to find new homes. They are, each and every one, an individual.

Lacy
Lacy

Lacy is the mare with a "CSU" on her shoulder. She is from the Colorado State University Repro Lab where she was used as an Embryo recipient mare. She is in her early twenties, a quarter horse-type, very easy going but independent and would make a good companion horse. We do not know if she has ever been ridden.

Folly

Folly is a registered American Saddlebred mare in her early twenties. She was ridden at the New Holland sale in PA but has not been ridden since she came to us. She might make a good trail horse or companion.

Alfie

Adopted!
Alfie is approximately a 1998, kind, even-tempered unregistered American Saddlebred gelding. He has now accepted a saddle and been ridden, sparingly, and certainly appears to be more than ready to move forward under saddle. He is sound and athletic and is a good sport horse prospect.

Splashdown

A beautiful and loving unregistered American Saddlebred gelding, approximately 15-16 years old. He has had no formal training with us. He would make a great companion horse and might take to light riding.

Hoss

Adopted!
1994 American Saddlebred Gelding by Bluefields Stone of Fortune out of CH SLS Roman Spring. Chestnut.

Handsome and intelligent, Hoss has tons of talent. He needs someone to spend quality time with him to gain his trust and unlock his potential fears.

Bolero Kool

1999 Saddlebred Gelding with papers by CH Harlem Town out of Lovely Heirloom. Chestnut 16.1.

This is a FABULOUS prospect for dressage or eventing- this colt has three wonderful gaits- big and expressive - and he is built just the way he should be - uphill and with terrific angles to his shoulder and hind quarter. Bolero is now under saddle and we are moving forward slowly so as to build him for his new adventure. He seems very willing and ready to learn new things. The outcome could be absolutely spectacular if brought along correctly. He is an elegant example of what an American Saddlebred Sport Horse can be!

Mr. Chevalier

1992 Saddlebred Gelding with papers by Radiant Sultan out of Blanchita's Gypsy Rose. Bay.

Reese was a show horse in his early life and now he would like to do trails and play at a new home.

Fred

Fred is an unregistered American Saddlebred, purported to be a son of Sultan's Santana. Fred is a special horse with special needs. He will need a quiet home with an understanding handler.
